Not even close.
My set up is only good up to 13 PSI max I believe.
I do not have the correct pulley setup yet to make it 18 psi.

I do have the 928 fully upgraded parts but only using a 3.0" SC pulley with the stock idler + 3.2" SC pulley on the SC belt side.

Mine was 10psi when it leaked and went over my windscreen at a track day.

I'm losing track of what everyone's running. Do you have the standard V3, the Si trim, or the 928 impeller/rebuild?

Mine is the standard Vortech V-3 Si that came with the Stillen kit but over spun with different pulleys.

The standard V3 with the Stillen kit for us is the SCi trim impeller. The SC trim impeller is an upgrade from Vortech.

- 928 impeller/rebuild
- 3.0" Vortech SC Pulley + Stock 3.2" Pulley + Stock Idler Pulley = Supercharger belt side
- Stillen 9PSI Pulley

- Way too much overspin at higher RPM's = oil spouts out.

I have the shipping plug (non-vented plug) with me in case I need a last resort to solve the issue but, I don't want to risk seals blowing out yenno?

I also e-mailed Carl from 928 to see if he had any ideas to circumvent or fix this issue other than what was already shared on this thread.

Will let you guys know if he has any plausible solutions!

Vortech SCi-Trim
Vortech Si-Trim
Vortech T-Trim

There's also the Paxton Novis, which use the same bracket and are similar design to the V3.

So, Carl from 928motorsports e-mailed me back with a response to the leak issue.
He told me to use his calculator on 928 website to find out how much I am actually spinning assuming no slip.

The calculator has 3 components:
(1) Size of Crank Pulley Diameter
(2) Size of Blower Pulley Diameter
(3) Internal Blower Setup Ratio for V3
(4) Max Engine RPM

Is the crank pulley the diameter of my ATI crank pulley that I had put in? 5.5"?

Is the blower pulley diameter .. I don't know? Isn't there 3 different pulleys on the supercharger belt? 2 SC pulleys and 1 idler pulley? I changed out one of the stock 3.2" SC pulleys for a 3.0" so would I put 3.0?

Max Engine RPM speed = 7.5k ish?

Anyone can help?

SOHO responded but didnt really answer my question, so Im not even going to post what they said.

Idle pulleys don't count. Forget all about them.
You need the diameters of: (where the belt rides)
The drive pulley (crank).
The driven pulley (pulley on the supercharger)
Plus the internal supercharger ratio.
Max engine rpm.

Okay but the supercharger has two different pullies it uses aside from the idler. 3.2 and I replaced the other 3.2 with a 3.0. So I use the 3.0 or the 3.2 or, should I average them out and just put 3.1?

Internal SC ratio is V3 setup so thats pretty easy since they have that option.

Drive pulley (Crank) - Okay I will put 5.5" since that is what I replaced my previous crank pulley with. An ATI 5.5" Street Super Dampnr pulley.

Max engine RPM: 7800 to be general.

Diameter of where the belt rides like how big the belt is in diameter?

This set-up uses 2 belts, right? (sorry, I was thinking of one belt) So you need the crank pulley and the driven jackshaft pulley. Then the jackshaft drive pulley and the driven supercharger pulley.

Too confusing for me lol.
Theres only 4 slots on his calculator xD
And theres only 2 spots for 2 diff pulley sizes.
I give up hahaha

My blower is overspinning for a fact I just wont know how much xD

Here is the stock setup with the 9lb pulley. Slightly overspinning, hence why Stillen made you sign a warranty release form when they were selling it.

My current setup:

Crank 5.75"
Engine RPM 7500
Supercharger pulley 3.0"
Jack shaft pulley 3.20"
Jack shaft serpentine pulley 2.80"
= Mine is spinning at 59307 RPM.

Dang it. I swapped my crank pulley for the ATI Super Dampr pulley that is 5.5".
I get less spin because of that but I suppose that doesnt matter since I am already overspinning it
