I have the 9lb stillen pulley and the 2.8 supercharger pulley with a bunch of bigger idler pulleys and Tbats system to avoid any slippage. With the 928 Super Vortech upgrade I plan to spin it much faster so I’m hoping for some really good flow. I will create a diagram of my pulley system after testing to show my final configuration. But we have allot of pulleys to test with and I will report back the best combination and configuration for this setup. I really hope to make about 17psi but i dont know it will be that high since my engine flows real nicely with a lower ported intake manifold and full Motordyne LongTube headers and cat back exhaust. I have no cats on my exhaust system. It will come down to the whole argument of flow vs PSI so all I can do at this point is test and hope for the best.

Should I run straight pipes with this kit (short tails and test pipes) like I currently am, or should I throw on another aftermarket axleback to create some back pressure?

I just ran across this article yesterday. It should be a sticky. You don't want back pressure, and what you have should be good if you're ok with the sound. From my research, FI and cats just don't work very well. Unless, you have BIG cats, or maybe break them in correctly, or maybe the Fast Intentions Mil Spec cats? In general though, I think most recommend no cats with any form of FI.

This explains back pressure v/s scavenging and why some incorrectly assume back pressure = more HP.

I'm running the Fast Intentions CBE along with their resonated TP and Mil Spec cats. I am not having any issues with lost boost. I'm still getting 9psi with my setup using the Vortec 2.95 pulley and the A2A system.

Nice job, was that on 93 octane? How are you liking the power difference?

Great numbers! Awesome torque curve, hitting 300wtq around only 3000rpm and it doesn't drop till 7k...I bet she pulls hard! Is this the standard trim or Si impeller?

Still the stock blower, and pulleys besides Tbatts tensioner pulley.
Jon did say to hit 500+ (map2) he had to advance the timing a bit. This was still hit on nothing but 93 pump gas with stock pulleys and trim.

Not much to watch, but here is the final pull: https://youtu.be/j2gaq0vRX90

Dang. If you would drop 1 pulley by .20" and ran si trim you would easily hit 550.
