If you want to go lower, you need a bucket, mounted in fixed position. The angle of the seat will also substantially affect headroom. I needed space to fit with a helmet. First tried a combo of Z1 side mounts and a Sparco EVO 2 US QRT. Got headroom but the seat back was angled back so much I had an uncomfortable time reaching either the pedals or steering wheels due to how far back it left me. Swapped to a newer Sparco QRT EVO XL. It has a more vertical back, which solved the issue. Fit with helmet now, and everything else is in reach comfortably. takeways: If you want to go low, you will need to sacrifice with a fixed bucket or custom setup test fit, test fit, test fit
