The first question is how tall are you because a seat bracket and rail will raise the height of the seat. I Wedge Engineering seat bracket that the seat is fixed to, no slider. At 6'1" my helmet hits the top of the roof with the slider. I no issues with fixed seat on the bracket.

Some beautiful seats in here guys, I have a question regarding your setups.

The stock seats have an air bag in them, the recaro bucket seats on the nismo have an airbag in them.

Most aftermarket seats do not have an airbag in them, I want to put some in but am concerned about safety. Could some one please advise? This is just for a street car driven on weekends, just concerned with the actual safety of aftermarket seats in a collision or even the lack of airbag. Does the airbag not make a big difference or do you guys just have big balls?

Thanks

Sold my BRAUM seats. Boy, were they uncomfortable. it was like sitting on plywood. Definitely DON'T recommend those to anyone. All the hype is that they look nice and they are cheap. Comfort is non-existent. Not to mention, the plastics from the seatbelt loop behind my neck kept splitting in two and breaking apart.

I just ordered a set of, what seems to be, the LAST set of Sparco R333's in the US. Sparco has had these seats on back-order since February and still no update on when they will manufacture them again. I've reached out to just about every warehouse across the US that carries these and all of them were sold out. With that said, they may not manufacture these seats anymore. I searched high and low for DAYS for the all-black ones but could only find 1 last set of black/grey from a local speed shop in Arizona. I didn't want to wait any longer so I just pulled the trigger on the black/grey set. Should be here within a week and will post pics!

Made me sad

It would be really hard to see why anyone would go for something outside of Recaro/Bride/Sparco, maybe Corbeau

The seat is pretty important for safety, much less aesthetic - why would u risk it?

if i ever ditch the nismo recaros it would be for . . . better Recaros. otherwise there's no point

EDIT:
Forgot about Buddy club, if they still exist. Had them in the S14, held up well for track days

it’s been long journey from my stock base Nissan 2017 370Z, red bride reclining seats ordered directly from Japan, waited over 6 month ..., but I enjoy every moment of modification process.

I actually don't have much of a problem because I'm small (5'6 small frame), but I'm be sure to look into it if/when I want to get an after market steering wheel
