Mine did the same thing on the driver's side. I tried putting a small drop of super glue on there which lasted about a month. I took it back and they just took a razor blade to the corner, if it peels anymore I'll have it redone.

@dudafunk- The car that I was looking at just happened to come with tint installed. If it hadn't, then I would have gone to my own place to get it tinted after purchase.

Just noticed yesterday that my passenger tint is peeling on the same spot everyone is having issues. No problem so far on the driver side.

I went to the tint shop and they are going to replaced it.

BTW, the windows were kept up for over 8 days after the tint was applied.

Anyways, make sure your tint person clamps the door button down while installing the tint. This way, the window rolling up when you close the door won't be an issue. In addition, a lot of tint places (the one that I chose included) slide the tint half an inch or so underneath the inner weather stripping so even if you were to roll your windows up and down, it wouldn't peel at all.
Or they usually just unscrew the door ajar sensor in the door jam.

Doing that would worry me that some one would close one of the doors with the window up.

Sh*t mine has been back to the dealer twice already to be fixed, and its going back agian to be fix! The last time they removed BIG air bubbles in the back and small ones in the little windows. When they did this they use a heat gun and Fu*k up the rubber piece and the paint on the side of the glass. Now it has to go back and get that replaced.

What are those shops? I'm likely going to need the same service at some point.

just to revive this issue.... i had my windows redone 3 times to fix this problem.. the first two were by a shady guy tinting out of his garage... but when i took it to a reputible auto glass shop... the problem went away. the guy in the last shop told me if it has an issue of pealing.. it means they didnt shove enough tint down the door

I no longer tint, but when I did I always had the door panels removed, and custom—not pre-cut—tint applied so that the tint was at the glass edges, and way below the interior window sill scrubber. Never had one issue with peeling, ever.

I remember getting my 97 240 tinted. door panels removed, interior quarter panels removed, rear deck removed, dash removed. even took the sunroof completely out and layed it on the counter for him to do it easier.
50% front windshield, 28% (30) everywhere else. the guy was so thankful i made it that much easier on him.
