Window Tint peeling issue

It is normal to have a little water film there but there shouldn't be any air bubbles.

Hmmm . . . that's definitely pushing it. You may want to head back up there.

Well, I don't want to go there this week and just hear "oh, well you should give it a few more days".

I'm willing to wait it out this week that way there's no excuse. Tint shouldn't take more than 3-4 days even in the cold to cure. I'm going to request that I be able to take it to a place of my choice and they cover the retint and a loaner car. I know of a couple shops in Dallas that do a quality job with lifetime warranty. The dealership already screwed up twice and I have to waste my time, its the least they can do.

What are those shops? I'm likely going to need the same service at some point.

Why did you get the tints done through the dealer, and not directly at your own tint shop of choice?

PS: About the bubbles, confirmed, they go after a few days on their own - do not touch.

Mine did the same thing on the driver's side. I tried putting a small drop of super glue on there which lasted about a month. I took it back and they just took a razor blade to the corner, if it peels anymore I'll have it redone.

@dudafunk- The car that I was looking at just happened to come with tint installed. If it hadn't, then I would have gone to my own place to get it tinted after purchase.

Just noticed yesterday that my passenger tint is peeling on the same spot everyone is having issues. No problem so far on the driver side.

I went to the tint shop and they are going to replaced it.

BTW, the windows were kept up for over 8 days after the tint was applied.

Sh*t mine has been back to the dealer twice already to be fixed, and its going back agian to be fix! The last time they removed BIG air bubbles in the back and small ones in the little windows. When they did this they use a heat gun and Fu*k up the rubber piece and the paint on the side of the glass. Now it has to go back and get that replaced.
