DIY: AT Shift knob removal/replacement

Cool, thanks a lot. Personally I think I'm going to hold out for a shorter option, although I realize some modification might be needed for that to happen.

Yes Europe (and Canada IIRC) can spec 7AT in 40th, its what I have in mine

Will do although having zero luck getting hold of an RSW CF gate cover - doesn't seem like you can order off the english bit of their website, although the Jap side works.

Will probably change the knob at the same time, so it's on hold until I get the RSW ordered!

GTR shift know is taken off the same way(looks easier tho) as ours.

It would nice to know if the shaft diameter was the same and how high the gtr knob would sit in our cars. Does anyone have a friend with a gtr to give this a test fit first ?
