nope you can adjust up or down about 2.5 inches ... a 7" spring just gets you to the same starting point as the stock spring. 6" spring is too short, as you have proven

But then the link won't be mid way. I can't see how it will help. If I put a 7" in ill have to lower the coil an inch to get back to 26 3/16th. Then the spring will be right back where it was.
