I am very close to buying an 09 370z Touring with Sport Pckg. Concerned with tires and brakes cost. Am told that brakes wear out in 15K to 40K and tires wear out in 20K. Also hear that the 19 inch tires cost $300 each, mounted. Brakes cost $500 to $650 per axle to replace (two different dealerships gave these prices). Can I use a different brake pad other than the Nismo pads? How often do the tires and brakes really wear out? Also told I could buy Nexxen tires for half the price of BFG. Any and all input would be very much appreciated.
