If you're not going to track, don't bother with drilled or slotted rotors. You won't get any benefit from them and they can only cause you problems.
Also I've used the Stop Tech street pads for numerous track sessions and they work fine. Plenty of stopping power with no fade even on MSR Cresson 1.3 which is hard on brakes because there's no straights for cooling. There's certainly a level at which these won't be suitable for track, but I'm not close to that yet. They are also great street pad with low dust. As others have suggested, stainless steel brake lines are well worth it. |
