Yup, I used the Dynamat Xtreme on the front doors. It's kinda hard to see in that one pic I posted because it's dark in the door and the Xtreme is black, this one shows it a little bit better:



For the doors I'm also gonna cut a sheet of MLV/CCF for the whole panel. Then for the 6x9 to 6.5 adaptors, I'm gonna make it out of 3/4" or 1" MDF so it acts as a baffle as well as a spacer.

Awesome job on the install!

I was wondering to remove the metal colored shield plate you just rolled the window all the way up including the slight drop when you open the door then you were able to remove the glass window correct? With the glass out you can remove the metal shield plate?

I figure I would just depress the door buttons for the window using a Ratcheting Bar Clamp then unhook the battery to keep the windows fully rolled up.

I assume you didn't have to drill the 2 rivets like some of the other member installs?
