flat spotted tires to the rear

If the flat spot has left "some" tread above the tread bars, you "might" get use out of them by buffing or shaving the tread down to the flat-spot -

If the flat spot has left "some" tread above the tread bars, you "might" get use out of them by buffing or shaving the tread down to the flat-spot - maybe not all the way, BUT perhaps to within a mm or so. Depends how bad the bruise actually is. If the bruise is down to tread depth limit, the tyres are toast ....
