If the flat spot has left "some" tread above the tread bars, you "might" get use out of them by buffing or shaving the tread down to the flat-spot - maybe not all the way, BUT perhaps to within a mm or so. Depends how bad the bruise actually is. If the bruise is down to tread depth limit, the tyres are toast ....
