According to Twitter traffic, the BRZ will come in two levels of trim, the base-level — called, strangely, Premium — which includes navigation (yes, standard), eight-speaker audio, soft touch dash, limited-slip diff; leather-wrapped steering wheel (tilt-telescopic), shift knob and e-brake lever; six-speed manual; aluminum pedal covers and cruise control, among standard features.

The BRZ Limited model adds leather seats with Alcantara trim, fog lamps, rear deck spoiler, 17-inch rims and vented discs (16" front, 15" rear).

Wow, MC, thanks for that info. $24k MSRP for nav, premium sound, and sport cloth seats? That's great. I figure invoice would be closer to $22k. That's a good deal.

I'm going to have to check this car out -- it could be a very fun daily driver.

250hp at that weight is pretty good.

Rumors are all over the place with this car. Id rather have a 200hp car that weighs 2600 lbs than a 250hp car that weighs a tad less than 3000 lbs. Are official japanese curb weights out yet?

I don't know how much power exactly I'd want from a car like this. I think 250ish is close to the sweet spot for a sub 2700-lb weight street car. Maybe pushing it on up to 300. I certainly wouldn't want to overpower the chassis, and would not want to have to be concerned with losing traction at WOT in low gears. Just something fun and very toss-able on back road drives, while still maintaining some efficiency and practicality for daily use.

250hp probably is the sweet spot for a this car, BUT think how much fun 300hp would be on track with r comps and the suspension setup to handle it??

Plus, this is 'merica, more hp is ALWAYS better.
