No, none of those are Corvettes, but I don’t see any reason to suspect that they are any better than what I’ve had experience with (from minivans to pickups, Cadillacs, and C5500’s).
Probably so...there is a reason why GM
would not place the Chevy badge on any Corvette.
Just like any car manufacturers like our own Nissan they make crappy Sentras, Versa, Maxima and Vans.
H

But for some reason they do it right or better with the GTR and Z cars.
Just like to Ferrari they have half boiled lemons as the likes of Alfa and Massaratti.

With the exception of the 4C off course.

Just smoked what you wantef to
smoke ...lol

Magic Mushrooms!

Exactly. The C7 corvette build quality eclipses all other generations. No creeking and rattling in my camaro yet? Power is amazing...

And as for corvette? They are built in their own factory by corvette specialists in bowling green Kentucky!!! Not in a factory with Malibu's and Cruze's

My buddy's C7 Vette built quality is chit. Paint thin enough to see the primer. Seats that the sticthing is coming loose. And the motor that had to be replaced because of metal chips in the oil passages. Plus the radio that works part of the time.

Ooops! He has a C7 Z51. Thinking about this thread. I typed C8. Gregg got a early C7. He's had some issues with it. He still has it. Last I heard. He's thinking on selling it since he retired.

New production car models usually would have a few of those lemons.

Too bad your friend got one of the rotten eggs. Not sure whats the lemon law in your state says. He should have requested for a buy back by the dealership and got another newer model GS 2017.

Same reason why GM invested a million dolllar new paint facility in Kentucky to address the paint issue.

I bought mine 2014 velocity yellow now its color changed to matte gray!!!
I thought it was those magic color change scheme by Corvette.

So your saying its the primer Im seeing? I knew it my vette Paint is made by Skittles!

GM recommends for Corvette C7 to do an oil change for the first 500 or 1K miles and change oil differentils at 20K or 30K miles. A/T flush at 50K miles.
To keep those metal shavings flushed.

the vett is 5 years old and so far it still scares me with TC off.

Gregg always wanted a Vette. So just before he retired. He bought a first year C7. Now that he is retired. He's thinking that he made a mistake in buying it. I've known Gregg since the 70's. And he has always been like that. Always second guessing himself.

Yup... Same for the SS. His buddy didn't take care of his car well. Secondly I drove the 14 vette. I wasn't too impressed till I went back in 17 and test drove it. They sorted out the excessive numbness in the steering and gave it feel somehow. They transmission was faster and being the 17 was a GS... I was impressed. My only issue was the 1LE and Grand sport drove to similar for a nearly 40k gap. Granted the the seating position feels more right in the vette. But the overall cabin layout of the camaro blew me away. Never been in an american car so well thought out with button placement. If I could get a GS 65 or under? It'll be worth it to me. Watching these discounts.

Actually this is the best time to buy a used or new vett.
As a lot of potential C7 Corvette buyers hold of their purchase to see how the C8 would look like and the pricing of the new C8 would be.

If indeed the C8 would live up to the claims of GM as the most powerful and being the C8 would raise the bar of an affordable sports car with supercar abilities.

C7 prices would go down further.

It's not like we haven't seen this before with other cars.
