So the car got rear ended hard enough to total it? Isn't the most expensive part of the car (the transmission) in the back? Wouldn't that be an immediate deal

So the car got rear ended hard enough to total it? Isn't the most expensive part of the car (the transmission) in the back? Wouldn't that be an immediate deal breaker?
If you have to ask if a rebuilt title car is a good idea, it's not. If you have the skill set to repair and own a salvage title car, you're not asking about it on forums.
