Honestly, I'd rather have those door handles on my 370z, than what's currently on it right now.

Between the 2, the new z door handles look better for sure.
But the fuel cover yikes.

Hey, just nice to have some adult conversation about the door handles.

I remember a local newspaper review of the 350Z door handles many years ago. The guy said they were the coolest handles ever. I'm not sure I would have gone that far, but I agreed they were super cool. For me, same goes for the 370Z.

You guys seem to want boring. Shifting comparisons, the one huge downside to buying a Lamborghini Huracan vs an Aventador is the doors and handles. I think a Huracan is the better looking car, but the fact that it doesn't haven't scissor doors is a definite bummer.

To me, the 350 and 370 handles make them really unique. Losing those handles would be a step backwards, not an improvement.

Another take. Anyone who thinks the new Z wheels looks better than any Gen 370 sport wheels is out of their mind. The 370 Sport wheels are just about the best looking stock wheels on any car of all time. They kick any Ferrari wheels butt. Flame on....

I like the door handles. Though the 2016 colour is a little dated. I'm going to colour match mine. The new handles are okay too. But not interesting.

As for the wheels I like them.
The later model sport wheels are the Z's worst wheels imo. The v2 nismo wheels are great. V1 nismo I never liked. The 18inch base model wheels I also like quite a bit. The early model sport wheels also do nothing for me.

I like the new wheels but they need to be lighter in color. My taste is directly opposite of the above quote with respect to the 370Z wheels. I like the 2018-20 sport wheels and the V1 NISMO wheels. Being old-school, shiny metallic wheels helped define a sports car back in the day. Dark wheels just don't cut it.

I'll buy a 2 yr old Z in 2024 with 12k miles for 30k US. By then all this inventory/supply mess will be sorted out and dealers will be giving cars away.
And if I'm wrong, I'll just keep driving my 370z.

So just put down a deposit on the Lotus Emira, come today find its 10k more than expected and they don't even have an LSD. It's pretty pathetic it's not an option on what they bill as a drivers car. They promised sticker is why I jumped on it; local nissan dealer is the only other dealer to do so.

I'm so excited about that car! So, did you cancel the car or decide to go thru with it?

That rosewood is where it's at! As for the color matched roof, nothing some paint or vinyl can't fix if you want it black.

I still have my reservation but it's fully refundable so can I keep searching. I don't have to specify spec till I order it and it turns out the v6 manual has an LSD but none of the other versions do; it's an 18 month wait for it though. Another thing thats turning me off from it is that short wheel base mid engine cars are the hardest to save in oversteer situations. I've been eyeing the mustang mach 1 but I can't bring myself to say no the emira.

I think that they are okay. They are unique in shape and how the LEDs are on top and bottom.
From an aesthetic standpoint, I think that the biggest issue is that huge grille. Nissan tried to break it up by having the top part different than the bottom but that just seems to make it worse. The bottom now seems like it is missing something or that it's broken.

Why does so many hate on the grill. The grill is fine. Coming from an audi driver, that grill size is nothing really. Just a trend that audi started.
Now the new lexus suv, the giant pellet grill. Talk about taking to the next level. When I look at the new lexus SUV, all I see is the grill.

Big rear hips and big rear wheels on the 370Z are great aesthetic features, particularly for many men.

The moral of the story is: Big butt is good, big mouth is bad.

I have a 2021 Toyota Avalon. Talk about a giant grille! I call it big mouth! The rest of the car looks good, at least to me.

I like my Z to be sleek without that big mouth that has the lower part of the teeth broken.

They added new body panels around a 370z hardpoint. the gas opening.
Had to be that big otherwise the gas pump with hit the body work.
it's the kind of **** you get when you're new car is actually just different body panels. and an engine.
