They ran a 370 around with a 350 body for awhile as well. This is not surprising as the car will basically be built on a modified platform of the current car.

I was really hoping Nissan would have had something out by the time my lease was up on my Infiniti. My 40th Anniversary 370Z was such a great car. My lease ends next month and I ended up picking up a 2017 M2 this past weekend, only to now see some actual news in this thread finally, this morning. Doh!

This is the 370 mule back in 2007 with a 350 body. If they’ve done it before, not a stretch that they would do it again. |
I live in an area were numerous prototypes cars and trucks and trucks are tested and all of the are covered with some kind of urban camouflage or covering. It is very rare to see an uncovered test mule these days.

Why is it that all of these websites/magazines all print the same set of pictures. :shakes head: You guys ARE so desperate for any news. That you will believe anything. If that's the case. I got some soon to be ocean beach front property in Az for sale. Buy it now before the BIG EVENT. After that. The prices will skyrocket.

J/k The LA auto show starts November 22nd, they did debut the 370Z there but I wouldn’t get my hopes up about any more info about the next gen Z. |

Yes, I wouldn't get my hopes up either, after my recent disappointment, but it's going to appear soon and we'll see the finished article/s within two years. |
I love the Z, but I do not think I will be getting the newer one. I will keep this current one with its N/A engine and keep it as a classic. I would go for something like a C43 wagon ora C63 wagon. Heck even a E43 wagon would be clutch. I just need a solid all year rounder car to deal with the snow here in Ontario.
I hope they do justice to this car and have no parts that are shared with Renault. I also hope their teams and or execs go through these forums and understand the mediocre attempts on some of their engineering (Lack of proper oil cooler, crappy CSC, crappy differential bushing, crappy fuel pump/reader and the annoying axle click). Those alone push the cost passed 3 grand (labour included), I should not be paying for that **** after I buy the car. Learn to do it right. |
If history repeats itself? The Z35 will be here quick.
Test mule Oct. Sketches for Christmas. Utter Silence for a few months. Surprise appearance at Auto show. Both 350 n 370 came this way. |
