and the list goes on. IMO it boils down to this, if you have the money and it's no issue you'll never even look at the base model. Let's be honest, the Nismo, just like the M3, SRT8, ISF or AMG's are the exclusive cars of the brand and all out just look better and have a few better options, but at the least, when it's all said and done you'll have the top model of that specific car brand
I don't think this is truly accurate. Just because you have the money doesn't mean you'll buy the highest end model....In the end you still need to also like the top model. The Nismo, as nice of a body kit it has and extra bolt ons, I would never buy one due to the fact I wouldn't want to pay more for it to simply be taken apart....
Cars with factory aggressive full body kits are usually for people that don't want to change cosmetics too much.(IMO)

Well, I'm just going off my interaction with real car guys and most that drive base model cars say that if they had the money they would've gotten a Nismo, AMG, M, SRT ect. I don't know anyone who chose a base model over the performance model and money wasn't an issue unless there just not car guys and not saying those who drive base models are not car guys, I'm just going off the ones I KNOW and mean no disrespect to anyone and there preferences. I love my Nismo though, this car has great body lines.

I share your same logic which is why I went with the Nismo myself. I figured if I was going to spend the money on a car might as well get the best the model offers.

I think for most "real car guys" money is a consideration though.

but the problem with that is i could afford a nismo, but it wasnt the shape i wanted.

i still prefer the base sports-package 2009-2012's simple design.
the 2015 nismo looks terrible to me as well...
