Someone took my wheel well liners off three wheels and cut the front bumper liner up behind one of my headlights. I have a feeling both with be stolen soon. I have filed a police report and they are en route to fingerprint my car.

WTF...? That sucks dude, I bet they are trying to steal the hid lights and ballasts. Probably Honda drivers and stupid kids. Hope the police find those little SH!ts.

That's horrible. Kudos for calling the police. I'm not sure I would have had the self-control and good judgment to do that. And I don't even live in Texas.

Good luck with your situation!

Pintsize725 07-31-2014 07:38 PM

She was just fingerprinted, hopefully they find something. Here's the cut up part.

Sorry that happened, hope they find the d-bags and show them the slammer.

So I washed the car, clayed the rear, compound, polish and waxed the rear bumper + trunk. Will be working on the rest of the car over the weekend but the trunk area was the worst so I just had to do it!

****-heads! Get a job and pay for your own ****!

I have had my previous cars broken into, so something like this pisses me off to no end. I thank the stars that I have a garage at home and a secured garage at work.

I installed hood struts and the Motordyne resonated XYZ.

Yeah I used to have a garage and when we moved, the hubby didn't want to get one, so......:shakes head:

Anyway, did you have fitment issues with the hood struts?

Yes, and I specifically bought this set because they were supposed to fit better than the others. I'm not yet sure what I have to adjust to make the hood lie flat.

They do their job very well though. They hold the hood higher than the stock bar and there are no issues raising or lowering them.

Pintsize725 08-01-2014 09:11 AM

Does anyone know if part number 63844-1EA0A is the right replacement part for that cut up section?

I got my SPL midlinks in, going to go pickup some Swift springs for them as well as my set of M7 coilovers. Then I'll look at them... And pay someone to install it all on Monday, LOL

Brad Edwards 08-01-2014 10:47 AM

105 already? Wow,
San Diego is still overcast at 8:43 AM.
Today, for my Z... I ordered the MoverAxle Front license plate relocation kit, which will mount on the Tow Bolt reciever. I also have recieved an update on the re-sizing of the iSS forged wheels, they are done and ready for tires, then once the rubber is mounted and balanced, they will be shipped to me for installation.
Can I say it's like christmas in August...

Pintsize725 08-01-2014 10:53 AM

DE is going to go pick up my headers today. :stirthepot:

Never had issues before but the bolt right under that wasn't even lined up in the hole properly so it must have just fell down. The reason I feel it was tampered with is that I drove back from Houston after getting the lights done and had no issues all week up until yesterday.

Anyway, I got someone to shimmy it back into place until I can replace it.

I parked next to this bad boi this morning at work. I asked him if he could take me to the year 2020 to see what the next Z was going to be but he was out of plutonium.

i just use a piece of 1/2" or 3/4" thick 2" or so wide oak on the platform of my hydraulic.
no scratches or bent pinch weld.

I had been using a small piece of 2x4 pine. It kept them in good shape but was getting beat up pretty good.

A hole saw would make this a lot easier

you mean to make a slot down the center? like the puck adapter?

but yah, the point of my wood adapter wearing away is to keep the weak
point on the adapter side and not the car... although ive been using the
same piece of oak for the last 2yrs... :D

Jerggy13 08-01-2014 05:05 PM

i was thinking about slotting it. But i want the majority of the weight to be supported on the seam, rather than the sheet metal near the seem.

i dont know if you know this, but there is a slight hump behind the pinch
weld behind the jackpoints. if you make a slot, most of the weight will still
go on the hump.
