I was unaware of the hump. Will have to take a closer look ;)

Just finished up at Z1. 322 to the wheels in high humidity. Baseline was 296. The temperature wasn't bad though. They are going to post a video at some point. Back to Florida!

Thought i would show my modded cat litter car wash bucket system. Pull out strainer keeps the wash mitt off the bottom and lets sediment through.

I have been using this system for several years. Do not worry the bucket has been washed out thoroughly before every use.

I'm taking the Z to within ear shot of Sears Point, though I will be at a slot car race. Wish me luck.

Went to the MAZOC picnic in the Catoctin Mountain's.

Driving home the other night and this guy with a new gen charger srt rolls up...honks his horn and I just smirk, continue on my way. He guns it and takes off. few minutes later I'm still cruising home at around 65mph on the expressway. I pass him as he's stuck in the slower lane. I approach my exit and then he comes up to me AGAIN... honks his horn and says "YOU'RE TOO SLOW FOR ME ANYWAY, **** SUCKER". Getting all upset 'cause I'm not stupid enough to race you? oh lord

Went to the beach this morning with my 2 ladies. Then had some smoked chicken tacos from a beach burrito place.

Snapped a pic of one of the girls.. can never get both of them at the same time tho!

Almost done reupholstering the whole interior and seats, and installing carpet. (never came with carpet originally and had to remake all the panels out of thin wood and cover them in leather). Also re-did the dash and all gauges and hardware and replaced all the floorboards that were rotten. Just have to grind down the door latches some and throw in the front seats.

Great job keeping your cool.

I had equalme paint match some emblems when I got the door handles done. Finally put them on the car. The front was super easy, because the bumper and emblem are brand new. I was able to just pry it up cleanly and all of the adhesive stuck to the emblem. The rear was a PITA!

What should we call this, stealth-badged?

Spent the afternoon rolling around the garage floor swapping parts. Right angle attachment works great with the dremel for slotting the toe bolt hole, but the cordless battery was not up for the task:mad:. The SPL arms are impressive. All in all, it went ok, the Swift springs are pretty difficult to compress. Going for an alignment tomorrow.

Eh, I felt this was a better option than the cheesy "Z" emblems, or paying out the *** for a debadge job.

I guess. I quite like the satin Z badges back and front minus the 370z logo that is. Hopefully you will get the wording colored in right?

debadging just takes some fishing line and a warm day! And some cleaning product too

Hmm lets see. Momentum headers/test pipes coming out, stock headers/cats back in, A/C compressor and pulleys going back in, couple other small things as well.

*Much easier to install headers with the radiator and support bracket out.

Dropped off to replace differential bushings and then watch her get tuned later this afternoon.

Spooler 08-04-2014 02:09 PM

Just had a carport built for mine. Got all my rides under it now. Thank goodness.

Spooler 08-04-2014 03:53 PM

Yeap, got a 24x36ft one. I am going to enclose it in one day. I need a shop so I can work on restoring my 1969 VW Bug ( modified to the hilt) and my 1975 Datsun 280zt. The 280zt has been in my house garage. Nismo was having to sit outside. Not anymore.

kenchan 08-04-2014 04:01 PM

forgot to post here, but i had a great drive in my Z yesterday. :p qd'ed afterwards.

brancky3 08-04-2014 04:08 PM

I went on an awesome drive in the mountains of NC yesterday, finally past the break in period!

Also, new shift knob! Stock one was a pain, I'm really glad I bought strap wrenches.
