Soooo drooling over my Harry under his cover in the garage.
I can see his hot curves-fenders-fat tires.

Oh spring spring spring .... Where are you. ?

370z209 12-17-2014 07:26 PM

Did the following:
1. Install 2015 nismo bumper
2. Install sport wing and Type-M add on
3. Install new Work Gnosis GS-4's

Almost installed my DF1 rear diffuser and side blades but ran out of time :(. Rear diffuser didnt want to go on flush so I didn't drill holes yet. Side blades need holes drilled still.

Extended warranty to the rescue with a $50 deductible. First use.

My rear axel/differential is leaking fluid. Two days with a free rental. What do you suppose they gave me? A Ford F 150 truck. :rofl2: It is huge. The rain has been falling and there is standing puddles so the timing is right. It wont fit in the garage and is just a joke for handling. With that said I was stuck behind slower moving cars on the way home.

After 2 days, I'm on my way to get my repaired Z from the dealership.

daywalker 12-19-2014 11:36 AM

Driving the shiznit out of her today as I'll be in Chi-town for a week. Withdrawal symptoms already starting to set in.

Rear seal is correct. Apparently it was a power train warrenty and no $50 deductable as I thought.

The way I baby my machine, especially at the track, I can't imagine what happened.

Thanks for the concern, all is well.

Your dealer must like you. I had three dealers deny me power train warranty coverage when mine failed. Apparently that's pretty standard affair outside of 36K miles without any Nissan extended coverage.

I had a rental F-150 truck so I found myself, perhaps for the first time ever, looking to hit puddles.

You open the door and my foot touches the ground without having to lift myself out. So totally different from anything I've driven before.

kenchan 12-19-2014 03:39 PM

i usually just fall out of a truck... i prefer low riders.

Maybe it is the 26K mileage that got me through. I do have extended as well but this was power train and covered without deductable.

Oh yeah. You get to bitch about pretty much anything within 3yrs/36K miles.

I got one dealer to replace my headliner at 3598X miles because of some slight drooping at the windshield directly in front of each seat. Very, very minor but I was worried it was going to get worse over time as it started around 10K miles. It was clearly a bad install from the factory because I've had the new one for 25K+ miles and it still looks perfect with none of the previous symptoms.
