Came home after work and the last piece of my Nismo bracing was sitting at the door. Shout out to Eric for hooking me up. Now to find the time to put everything on. This is the lower rear brace.

I drilled some holes in the bumper last night and added eagle fog lights, wiring took forever. Soldered each piece and had to solder behind the wheel well, which took me a bit longer with little space to work with. It was my first time messing with wiring!

lights look a little different in color, but I assure you they are not!
at an angle they look yellow, similar to a demon eye effect

fast forward a couple days, photoshoot with Varrstoen was today! turned out great, photos are being processed now, I'm repping their es9 wheels

Use it in the shade and keep it cool. Keeping it in the fridge after opening helps a lot also. Different formulas for different colors. I will say the photos people have shown with the wax are astounding looking. $50 for a small container seems reasonable since it'll last you a lifetime by the sounds of it. Only issue is that some people say the wax itself doesn't last long on the car. but at least goes great over a sealant like Four Star.

It is not good in direct sun, it shines like crazy, nothing seems to stick to it and it is easy to put on and take off.

I use meguiar ultimate paste. Still learning how to wax properly so don't want to spend too much yet.

Might have to buy a blower to dry my car now lol

Breadz, how much was all the work for your headlights? I looked and it seems liek it gets pricey quickly.

Damn rear hatch actuator broke. Three hours and 545 bux later........fixed. Damn stealership. No choice when you needed the thing fixed ASAP.

Set of door handles on the way so I can take them apart and spray mag black at my leisure and the stock ones can stay put in the meantime. Oh and some black Z emblems to replace the OEM Nissans front and rear.

Tracked down a set of RE11's finally. Had to get the fronts from one place and rears from another but managed to get the package together. These stock Advans are terrible can't wait to get rid of them!

Kzonts 06-04-2016 03:46 PM

Bought a good low-profile Jack today. :-)

Also ordered a slotted puck for it.

I install my old FI CB exhaust on the car last night with new to me mufflers. The sad part is my Mid Pipe is bent from the totaling of the 2012 Nismo. The muffler tips don't line up perfectly. It will get me by for now. Taking the day off today, my neck is killing me. It didn't take putting a deck bearing assembly on my finish cut mower to well. Cause it was hurting so bad I said F'it and put my exhaust on my car....LOL

We installed Berk Resonated TP.
10hrs! (well probably more like 8 with breaks and eating)
Used impact wrench without a problem. Just have to watch what you're doing is all. When tightening one of the new nuts it would only go so far, so it's not flush with the flange, but it appears sturdy. One bolt we just cut off using this concoction.

I don't know about all that. I'm just going to buy some used ones off a wrecked 370 and practice..........when we that may be. The headlights do look great though! :yum:

Finally had my F14's put on after 3 months of in my garage, along with some brand new 265/305 RE 11's. Planning on some darker tint next and then having the headlights painted.

Started my stereo install. Everything is here except the subs, which I had to change the order for a third time due to incorrect inventory. So there's a pair of JL 8W3v3 coming in about a week. St least I can get everything else set up in the meantime.

A pair of tires showed up this morning too. I'd pieced together a set of RE11's by getting the fronts from one place and rears from another. So I now have a set of fronts in my garage ... EXCEPT they sent me Firehawk Indy 500's instead :(

ChopsZ 06-08-2016 09:11 PM

Today makes it two weeks that I've had my Z. Just got the windows tinted today.
