Yeah the Ti wrap you have to pull it pretty tight. Not too tight though the fibres will start to separate. Also the more times you take if off and in the looser it gets and will start to fray both at the sides and the ends. Getting it even is key - but that can be easier said than done.

Finally glad to be posting in this thread after so many years...

Measured the OEM exhaust for the heck of it, the midpipe is 2.1" approx

eBay Y pipe I got is 2.5" to 3", which can still be a restriction for a turbo car so might switch to an H pipe that's 2.5" all around

So filling up last night checking oil/fluids adding some injector cleaner this older black gentleman pulls up and says "what year is that?"

Was pretty humorous conversation that went for a few minutes. Then after I left the gas station to get the cleaner going I "accidentally" bounced the limiter in first.... oops lol.

Drove her to work.... first time in 4 months... It was awesome.
