that's how the darker color cars should've come from the factory!!

when i bought my Z, i was going to buy the graphite metallic or the black, but due to the weirdness of the titanium colored door handles and the hypersilver wheels the sport came in, i went with silver at the end. plus, the silver had 3 or 5 miles on the odo and still wrapped in plastic. :p

in fact, my Z is still wrapped in plastic. :icon17: :ugh: ;)

^ Unwrap it sometime, its much more pleasurable!

Send us a pic of the fitment please! Wanting to order those since the factory mats are so flimsy!

p.s. tell us how your heel sits when shifting.

Fitment is good as advertised!

My heel sits on the floor?!? is that what you were asking? not sure lol

You can vaguely make out the heel marks from the first 2 pictures.

I didn't feel any noticeable difference when shifting if that's what the question was.

Yeah I meant if it slides or anything like that on the mats, but it looks like there is enough grip on them. Fitment looks good!

She's parked somewhere in a covered airport garage waiting for me since Monday. She should be relatively clean when I get to drive her home in 1.5 hours. Then I prep for the RJM install.

Yes! Luckily the former owner did the install for me, and I love it! I just need to figure out what setting is good for me.

I'd say grip has actually gotten better with weathertech

Yikes! I am debating on whether or not I should drive it to Houston or just take the hybrid... going to be raining but I want to show the car to my brother and family!

jmayz 05-22-2015 03:15 PM

This is bad whether season for Texas! But then again the sun might shine the entire time you're there! Just never know.

No :( I didn't realize I would have to go this weekend, thought it was next weekend :ugh2:

Well, it says scattered T-storms...eh, might as well play it safe and take the hybrid I guess. When in doubt, don't whip it out?? :o

jmayz 05-22-2015 03:59 PM

I'd risk it. Road trip will be so much more fun!

Uxi 05-22-2015 04:06 PM

SurfDog 05-22-2015 08:40 PM

Changed the oil (royal purple)
Bled the brakes (rbf600)
Put in track pads (hawk plus)

Hello summer we are track ready!

BamBamZ 05-22-2015 09:44 PM

Had the old window tint removed and new 20% tint installed... I think the old tint might of been 20% too, Because it looks the same from the rear aside from being more of a charcoal color (old tint apparently was fading).

its a fun track for us Z guys with big HP. if there wasnt a 90db limit on the uphill after turn 5, i could easily bust the 1:45 mark. but i have to literally coast through or be black flagged off for the day :owned:

its a scary track though...it'll chew you up and spit you out if you're not careful. here's a brand new Z06. potato quality, sorry!
