After spring install on my garage door yesterday, the motor failed on the second test. New motor today. New, insulated garage door and assembly soon

Then I can finally procrastinate more on a some work that needs to be done on the Z (install SS brake line, regrease axles, replace axle nut to fix axle click). She is in desperate need of a wash and wax, too.

Bananaz 10-17-2014 08:36 AM

After watching many junkman videos last night I want to order a lot of washing supplies.

ontario is introducing that green tax bs all over too. more like money grab. just wish my dumb arse governmetn would admit it.

then again they squandered 1billion to cancel a 80% complete gas project because NIMBY bs and to save 2 seats (which they lost 1). oh not to mention they squandered more on other bs... and still got re-elected a majority....:shakes head:

I got my first oil change today... had them flush the dinosaur oil and went with Mobil 1 Full Synthetic. It also looked really nice after my first exterior detail.

Traded the Z today for a '15 Stingray Z51. I guess it still has a "Z" in it. Had Z new since Jan 09- a good ~ 6 year run.

Definitely Z related. A working garage door allows me to work on the Z  Driveway has a slope, and I will not use jack stands on it.

daywalker 10-17-2014 10:26 PM

Washed and full Zaino treatment head to toe on her. Fuggin tired, but 7 hours well spent. Tomorrow, I drive and drive and drive!

Did a oil change and installed a 25 row Z1 motorsport oil cooler.
After the install did a test drive of some really hard spirited driving, with a lot of red lining. Just to see how this bad boy will do. Its 83 here in Texas DFW area today. The temp never got above 200. On the highway, it dropped back down to 185. Really pleased with it. Before the oil cooler would always get 225-260. The real test will be next summer though. Also , so far. It has not interfered with my outside temp gauge.
