What did you do with your Z today V (ON TOPIC DISCUSSION ONLY)

Where are all of the early Z34 owners going....it's a shame. Someone should open a new thread to capture all the Z34 that have left.

Sad day ; my insurance ran out and my Z is in hibernation until next April.
Had a great year;found many great roads and even scared myself a few times.

Apparently, I do not have a sense of depth. I accidently bumped my front bumper to a pillar!!! Thank goodness the license plate took the brunt of the damage, but now my license plate frame is bent and the bottom lip of the bumper is slightly scratched. What a terrible day.

I gotta admit though, since temperatures are going down, you can feel the Z gaining a bit more hp! Really fun to drive at the moment.

I avoid parking front forward at all costs. Backup camera is so convenient.

I came home much later than usual this evening. It starts off well, no cars for a mile and then passed two SUV's at the only possible spot and had a thrilling drive on a freshly paved mountain road. Heaven.

The down side came when I came around a blind turn with some Asshat sonofabitch scoundrel in a truck was in my lane. I laid on my brakes and let the 7000 RPM's drop to 1000. He got back in his lane, good thing as it turned out as I could not stop in time. But I did come to a stop to have him flip me off. I nearly came unglued.

When you are mad, upset etc driving can have ramifications. I was really mad. I am way too old to let this get to me, but it did. I continued driving uphill and when I got to the top I saw nearly 90, and was about to punch it and go down hill. I finally got hold of myself and brought it down to regular speeding. Although it was an exhilarating drive, I must reiterate do not drive when you are mad.

Damn asshat drivers.

Good advice, and good to hear things turned out well otherwise.

Wow. This is very very true. I curse myself when I let people's behavior influence my own -- no good ever comes of it.

I might be talking out of my butt. But Im flirting with the idea of selling my car. It's definintly not a money thing. I feel like things are so busy around my house with my girl and kids and I'd rather give them attention. Just got a new house and about to get married. One of those things when you grow up with no family. But we'll see. Maybe I'll just do less events. I have a lot into to it just to get rid of it.

If it is not the money, garage it for awhile and or do fewer events. Think it overlong and hard as you have so much effort into your Z and it could vanish so quickly (sale).

Be slow and deliberate. Congratulations on getting married soon.

I am beggining to think fewer cars are on the road due to high gas prices. I paid $4.82 for 91 yesterday. Day after day I have been having good runs. This morning was no exception.

I saw a Mustang convertible and thought "hot dog" as I exited onto the main road. Dead dog would have been closer to the truth. He let me or I passed him and had a stellar drive all the way on. A motorcycle was on my tail initially but he fell off the pace after a couple turns. The only negative are all the road construction signs that tell you to expect road workers. Eventually with no workers the signs say end of road work. I just wish the signs were set up each day as opposed to days/weeks ago.

After weeks of these signs, I became complaicent recently and startled myself along with some poor road worker.

Take my advice, dont do it man! If you aren't a 100% sure of something, that means you really don't wanna do it, and there is uncertainty, which means your mind is playing on tricks on you
