Default What is this called?

At the very top the aluminum brace which resides right under the radiator. The closest I can come is a suspension member, but I can find no part number for that brace, it goes from one side to the other and bolts on to the Suspension member. It's the very top of the picture.

Welcome to Nissan, I forgot what I needed awhile back but it was just a little piece but I had to pay the full $500 for a whole assembly. They would not split it up.
Your best bet, maybe email z1 and see if they have some used ones laying around or hit up a junk yard.

Girlfriend didn't see the a damn parking stop and drove it right up on it and bent the hell out of it. I got under there and looked and told her not to worry about it, it's just a brace, should only cost a couple hundred at most.

I didn't know it was going to be $600+

You could have someone take some pretty close aluminum (bar stock)? and make one....probably stronger than the original. There are a lot of machinists/fabricators on this forum that could give advice.

Just be glad you don't have a Nismo, to replace the plastic underbody panel, last I check that plastic cost about $1000.

A bit more actually, but there is the zspeed one now for about $400 which is a lot better anyways.
