Hey everyone,
Here's a thread where you post a picture or update or story or info on what you did to your Z today. All the replies must be on topic here. There are some member who want to keep a "on topic" thread on this topic and don't want to scroll though a lot of unrelated replies. If you're one of members, you are more than welcome to participate in this thread. However, if you want to carry on the same topic with other stuff , please post in this thread: http://www.the370z.com/lounge-off-to...ay-thread.html

I'll start this thread off with this:

Finally washed my Z after 5 months and 27 days!

I was going to make a thread other day telling members to check oil level every 4 weeks especially in summer time when we drive in 100 degrees plus weather with a/c on full throttle redlining the crap outta our engines!

I wouldn't know about that anymore. I know about heated garages now :icon17:

In fact, haven't turned on cold air in 8 months.

She's getting detailed sunday.

The *OFFICIAL* 370z.com mascot and I do a lot of driving together. Gotta get the hair cleaned out ... and I'm really lazy, so I'll pay someone else to do it.

Sometime over this past week, someone tried to steal the rear Nissan badge of mine... Never heard/saw anything. :ugh2:

http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1345266785

Didn't scratch the emblem, I'll strip off and re-do the Plasti-dip so no biggie, just left some bad gouges in the plastic surrounding the badge.

I was lucky, a neighbor across the street had their car hit as well (probably same people/night) of of the rear of their Honda Accord.

Some people. :shakes head:

I am driving her down to Santa Clara for the day fir a bit of wirk on a Saturday.

Gotta work today (thus I'm on the forum ) but tomorrow I'm going to reinstall the window seal on my driver's door. I tried three times to have the tint shop get the tint layed down deep enough but after a week the tint would grab and start to rip off in the forward corner. Found that the culprit is some rubber about 2 inches down in that makes life hell getting the tint correct.

Hmmm, maybe it's a dumb write-up but I'll take some pics and do a mini write-up on how to prep your doors for tint.

USMCASA 08-18-2012 08:12 AM

^try rounding that edge lower into the door. thats what formula one did with mine and i've never had a peeling issue and the rounded edge isn't visible

Davey 08-18-2012 08:34 AM

Gonna take her for a drive later and get the last of the break-in miles out of the way!
