I'm running that now, I've only put about 150 miles on it, but it seemed to be very temperature tolerant. Was actually hard to get it up to ~180, heh.

i actually noticed it gets up to temp faster than the ester oil does and it stays right at 200-220, havent been able to really push it past 220, im going to do a canyon run next week and really test this oil out but so far, i love mobil1's european oil

I'm running RedLine right now but was gonna try the 0w-40 M1. $65 oil change is getting old when the M1 could be had for half the price...But we'll see. Everyone I've heard from that uses it is very happy with it.

It's really high ZDDP, even compared to the Red Line. From all the EOR's I've seen, it seems like the perfect oil for this engine.

Getting the drivers door retinted. There was a small piece of debris stuck between the tint and window causing a dot right in the middle of the window. For anyone in chicago, I highly recommend Umbra. Nino is redoing it now, no questions asked.

tightened touched up splash guard screws (2 nights ago)... couldn't believe those truss screws cost $1.15 each + shipping.

been running 0w40 for 3k miles. stays around 220 with spirited street driving in SD but definitely gets overheated doing mountain runs. I just need an oil cooler... oil looks so much cleaner than ester oil after 5k

bought two big 5 quarts from walmart recently :P win

My car is at the dealership... It's been 27 hours or so, and yesterday they said, wow... This is going to take a while, and that they probably couldn't work on it that day... I wonder if I should call to get an update or fùck it and enjoy my BASE ÀSS model 2011/12 Altima, lol

Car doesn't run hotter with M1 vs (Nissan?) ester oil?

Sucks that you have the issue but good that they're taking care of it.

I have to take my Juke back to get the drivers door redone. Hopefully I can get lucky with some good service too.

Yeah, its always my luck that stuff like this happens to me. Just glad to deal with good customer service for once.

Good luck with your Juke, what was the issue with yours?

Maybe a little hotter, but more stable and constant temps. Oil looks good after 3k too. Ester oil looked like yuck after 3k.

Started using 0w40 cause of oil analysis discussions on bob the oil guy forums, cheaper too. Looks to be one of the best oils for the VQ.

Wow, alright, my Nissan Ester oil at 3700 miles WITH the misfiring and the shittiness of running looked really good...
Glad it's working out for you!
