I've got to do my weekend wash later and feel like someone punched me in the gut. I've only had it two months and this happens to it.
Did you piss anyone off lately? That's such a personal thing. I'd turn that sh!t in to my insurance. Wouldn't be able to stand looking at it.

Sorry dood.

Not that I'm aware of, it's such a small area it seems casual instead of malicious, like a GF or enemy etc. Not sure. Maybe if I leave it there then people won't key it again since they see someone else beat them to it.

My comprehensive deductible is 250.00, should I get this fixed for 250 or let it go till something else happens? How much to get this type of scratch fixed, can I do it myself?

I'd let the professionals take care of it....and there's no way I'd be able to let that remain for me to stew over every time I washed it.

Installed the Hotchkis sway bar kit today and washed the car despite the pollen invasion.

Taking pictures of the damage is the first step, which you have done. If you can...take some even closer shots to document it even better. 2nd - get some quotes to repair it from a few local shops. If your deductible is $250 and the repair is $300 then the answer is obvious. Have it done yourself. If the quotes are much more than $250 (500+) send the photo's to your insurance company.

It all depends on what the shop says can be done and at what cost ....

Sorry man!

Got 1/2 of my electrical problems fixed after fuming for a year! Left door speaker/tweeter cutout was due to a "faulty RCA tip fixed by a resolder". This makes no sense to me as someone who has worked on car stereos because "RCA" could mean multiple things - I'm going to assume it was a cable issue.

Shop quoted me $80 p/h, spent 4 hrs working on it and charged me $45 total. Got a pretty good lunch in Annapolis and got a little tipsy, wandered around near the harbor until my buzz wore off with the girlfriend, picked up the car and went home.

Stereo thumps again. I'm pleased. Even more pleased it wasn't my botched install that did it.

Claim it unless you have a ton of stuff on your insurance. It's not an at-fault accident so it won't affect your premium. Sorry people are sh*tholes dude.
