What did you do with your Z today IV

yah, ive seen that option but not bought one yet. i think im going to get the composite video cable and just hook it up to my headunit or to another portable LCD and use that to aim while im sitting in the car. i can't see worth crap in that tiny lcd on the back of the gopro from outside the car (looking through the rear glass ). the LCD's great for general aiming, but i cant see much detail from 4-5ft away.

Do you think the LCD is worth skipping then? I always hate how I have to guesstimate the aim when I'm mounting my GoPro...

It makes sense for you to do the composite cable. I thought the WiFi adaptor would be awesome, really completing the package but it's kind of useless until the app is released.

honestly i would still get the gopro bacpac LCD. it's worth it.

yah, also if it's wifi, what are you going to do if there is no wifi connection? and if it's bluetooth, then im not sure if BT can handle that much data...? maybe for still pictures and time lapse it might work. wat if you have more than one gopro? how are you going to monitor both?

i think the best approach is to get the bacpac LCD for quick setup/confirmation + composite cable and hook up to an external LCD device as needed. you can buy cheap 3.5" ~ 4.3" LCD's for rearview cameras on amazon for like $30 if you dont have a HU with LCD. just plug in, setup your camera, remove cable and lcd and toss it in your gig bag.
