You are a very calculated person, Kenchan.

What's the micro usb for?

so this weekend is a no-go for the Z to pull out of the garage due to expected light snow (which means salt on the ground). so im going to dust off the car cover first and do the century spring install (clutch helper spring) that's been sitting on my work bench, and plug in that micro USB drive i got a few weeks ago for my HU... also turn the tires again.

next week looks a lot more promising as the low temps are now above freezing... :p

Man you east coasters have it tough

yes, this is why i dont need money counceling.

the micro-usb drive is for my HU to play MP3's. i have an earlier pioneer HU that has the USB port on the front so that i can charge my smartphone/accessory when needed. the micro-USB drive gives me about 1" more clearance than regular USB thumb drives when i shift. :D

Pretty much wherever it snows lol...I love snow but I don't know how I would deal with the Z situation in the winter.

well, you can get snow tires and drive it pretty much like usual, or hibernate it like me for a few months. :)

my G does very well in deep snow with LM60's.... so unless you're a detailing guy like me that dont want to deal with salt and crap corroding away the nice finish under and in the nooks, who cares. it's not a big deal actually. :D

awesome! hey so you have a scion too, huh? cool. i use to have a 5MT honda fit as my dd until last year actually... i retired that, retired my G from weekendcar status to dd. im thinking maybe i wants abarth.

Fire 03-01-2012 04:22 PM

I'm upset guys. Stopped into the Chevy dealership to try to get my order # to follow the buildup of my car ( also sending a sales brochure to have the assembly workers sign). I was told my order # still wasn't available and it might be even longer than 6-8 more weeks before I get my ZL1. WTH guys I'm going to have a breakdown before my car gets delivered. Kenman send me a couple of charboilburgers to ease my pain. :shakes head:

The scion surprised me on many levels! It does well in the winter, has best power in class, all things that are usually options come standard, and it was cheapest when it's all said and done. The 5mt is much better than 4at from what i researched, so that's why i went for the mt.

It works very well for me as a dd (40 mpg , fold down seats for cargo space, etc)

The abarth is awesome from what i hear. Very fun car.:driving:

holycrap! come this summer time premium can potentially peak $5.50/gal so that would be a great dd to save $. :D my gas-budget for the Z was calculated at $5.50/gal for 9months so i expect to have some cash left over come late Nov. :)

yah, the abarth would be my dd #2 if i decide to get it.
