Congrats on your order man!

Ah - I ordered 255/35/19 and 305/30/19. That must be it.

happytheman 04-08-2012 11:02 PM

Yup, that 305 killed ya! :)

Just curious, but what are you wrapping that rubber on?

dAvenue 04-08-2012 11:16 PM

Thanks for getting back to me on that. Yeah, the 305 is crazy expensive.

These bad boys on are going on Forgestar F14's 19x9 and 19x11.

BTW - the Continental DWS lasted for 9K miles before their wet traction went down the toilet.

dAvenue, sounds like a good setup you have there.

And the price in US is so much cheaper than Canada.

I didn't realize we had the price so good down here, alcheng. I'll pipe down then :icon17:

LOL... I remember when I order the DW, I ask them how much the PSS would cost for OEM size, and it cost about $1800ish. But that place is considering cheap already. :icon17:

Although I just got my tires last month, I am already thinking about getting the PSS next time.

Good Morning Sleepy Heads! :tiphat:

I can't believe I'm the first to post today. Happy must be passed out on the beach.

Great Easter weekend with lots of Z stuff. Coffee and Cars must have had over 1,000 cars attend; it was amazing.

Have a great week all.

Yeah unfortunately the site has been sliding towards "that other z site" as far as maturity level goes. I'm really surprised the kids haven't found this thread yet. I couldn't believe how well this thread was going along with it being in the non-premium section when I first checked it out!

Too many big words Steve, that's why.

Nah, not passed out on the beach, but I must admit that sounds like fun! I had problems accessing the site around a 1/2 hour ago or I would've been the first as usual! I kept getting database errors. Anybody else?

Good morning guys! :hello:

Looks like it's going to be another great day here in Florida. About to take a spirited drive to work and will likely be coming home early because what? what? what?

My front Michelin PSS are going to be here this afternoon! :excited:

Sounds like they're afraid of the competition. :driving:

PapoZalsa 04-09-2012 07:28 AM

Busy weekend, however yesterday I washed the Z, detail a little bit the engine bay, polished the cans and claybar the hatch.

Also washed the old lady SUV.

Time to work again, freaking Monday and my boss is running me like a rental scouter. :shakes head:

Alchemy 04-09-2012 08:44 AM

Yes! Nissan called while I was on the way to work. Car is fixed and ready to pick up:tup: Though, he said they just reset my check engine light. I dont think they investigated it too much. I expect to see that pop back on shortly.

Nick911sc 04-09-2012 08:49 AM

Went to the NY auto show this weekend. Saw a lot of pretty cool cars. Anyone have any questions about any specifically? haha

Fire 04-09-2012 08:51 AM

Did ya see my ZL1? How did the 2013 Z look in person?

Nick911sc 04-09-2012 09:06 AM

Didn't see the ZL1. The 2013 looks the same in person as it did in the pictures lol

Way less aggressive 350z styling and rims that looked like they got warped in a washing machine

The Persistence of Rays wheels. All melted Dali style.

Nick911sc 04-09-2012 09:09 AM

I sat in the new FRS/BRZ lol. With the seat all the way to the floor my head skimmed the lining... I'm 5'11-6ftish with a pretty long torso.

Fire 04-09-2012 09:12 AM

I hope it didn't mess up your hair Nick

Fire 04-09-2012 09:14 AM

That sux about the ZL1. I cannot believe Chevy wouldn't have it in NY.

Nick911sc 04-09-2012 09:16 AM

It's possible I could have missed it. But I was surprised that I didn't see any form of mustang there either. Everyone was crowded around the NSX and Viper lol

Fire 04-09-2012 09:19 AM

Hmmmmmmmm maybe they where racing each other outside. :eekdance:

Nick911sc 04-09-2012 09:20 AM

Earl "The Pearl" Monroe was signing autographs lol

I got one! lmao

Wow we had about 15 mustangs it seems in the chicago show. No nsx though :shakes head:

How does the viper look in person?

PS. Good morning everyone hope all of your Mondays are easy!

Nick911sc 04-09-2012 09:29 AM

Viper looks pretty cool. The Design looks pretty much the same as the old one with new headlights and rear lights. IMO they should have made the front lights bigger.

I think that's a good thing when they keep the design similar (viper, vette, 240z Z vs. 370z) It builds heritage.

radical design changes often ruin a brand/model.

Edit: it also makes the brand/model very easy to identify regardless of the year like a porsche 911.

Fire 04-09-2012 09:35 AM

I'd love to see a twin supercharged Viper to compete with the ZR1 Vette. Their competition in the early years of the Viper where awesome. :driving:
