Solarguy09 buddy, I am not sure is it a good idea to tell your fellows that your wife is in love again... but not with you..... :ugh2:

:happydance: :happydance:

take it eaZy, don't run me over with your VinDiesel, it's Monday today :icon18:

happytheman 02-27-2012 05:57 PM

Hey good afternoon/evening guys. Long hard day at work with no downtime for anything. :(

Anyways, hay Solarguy...what's your hang up with orbitals?

A true random orbital polisher will not burn the paint on your ride, and will do a far better job on paint correction than your hand ever will. Skip over to the detailing section NAND check out the plethora of videos that Junkman posted on paint correction. The guy is a genius when it comes to caring for cars. His videos are detailed, and fun to watch!

Because I am old, and cranky...hahaha..

Junkman ???? The dude is a rock Star .....Love his stuff..

Yes, I am sure a True Pro can use an orbital Just fine...I just like to use the side to side motion..

But hey, I am no Pro, and set in my Old Ways...So following me may not be a good idea.

Funny, she stopped by earlier to drop off "super chicken" , and she said she missed the " growl" of the 350Z...

I said my new friends can fix that...A Cat back exhaust and a K and N.. I threw in the K and N for me...

She said really ?? I said oh ya....More growl and power...I should shut up about the power thing and focus on the " growl "..

She misses it, and that makes me happy....After we wear out the new tires, i may be adding the " growl" back...

But I must shut up about the paddle shifters and the power, ect... Stupid me..

love my Girl

Bucketlist2012 02-27-2012 06:33 PM

Gonna go eat some " super chicken ".. and watch the 500..

onzedge 02-27-2012 06:50 PM

I am heading out to Texas Roadhouse in scenic Sandy, UT.

An cat-back will give her the growl, about the K&N, a drop-in will do the job no problem.

Yes, I agree, 350 have a better exhaust note.

my stock G's intake/exhaust has a MUCH nicer tone so i too was pretty bummed when i got in the Z for the first time at the dealer. :( sounded great on initial cold start but then it was too quiet...like driving a G37 sedan or something. btw, i might be the only one on the boards with the fujimura muffler. very nice sound btw. :p

Doing pretty good now that I'm home. :)

Getting ready to eat some Chinese and watch an hour or so of tv.

What knob you looking to get? I'm really digging the PWJDM one that I picked up! have fun wrenching the old one off. :ugh2:

Hey Ken! :hello: Were you able to kill that headache?

Edit:NVM, just saw you rid yourself of the headache and are heading into brain freeze!

kenchan 02-27-2012 07:34 PM

hey mr. happy- hahaha, yah, i didnt know steaks cure headaches. :D i like my pepper steak med-rare. :yum:

im going to sport the pwjdm knob a few more times and decide if i want to get the biggy type-r knob (twm) or not. :) i should've gotten the titanium collar for my pwjdm... cause now i want to get it powder coated matte black. :icon17:

Nick911sc 02-27-2012 07:34 PM

Which PWJDM knob do you have? I used to want the cylindrical looking model, but now I saw the round one and it looks pretty awesome

kenchan 02-27-2012 07:35 PM

round one!

Nick911sc 02-27-2012 07:39 PM

And you aren't happy with it? Do you find it shifts better than stock?

kenchan 02-27-2012 07:42 PM

it does shift better than stock and weighted. im more of a biggy knob guy so this is the only reason and i want a dark colored knob now. the knob was smaller than i thought vs the pict.

mine had lots of burrs when i bought it enough to cut some suede off my gloves so had to file off some of the decorative stripe in the middle. :ugh2:

Nick911sc 02-27-2012 08:05 PM

Would you say that it's smaller than the stock knob?

happytheman 02-27-2012 08:27 PM

Oh it's definitely smaller. PWJDM posted a pic for scale some time back. Do a search on the thread with the keyword "scale". Id do it now but a bit busy. Ken and I purchased the same one. I like it, but have to agree that I would not say no to the Big Type R knob as well! :yum:
