Maybe you are unhappy, but you should not be. When you graduate, you are immediately employable. Not so much for what I did at SDSU, which was to get a BS in Experimental Psychology with Minors in French, Russian Literature and Statistics. Interesting disciplines, but not ones that call out "hire me!".

I know I'm a couple days behind.... This thread covers so much ground in a couple of days.

Nothing to be unhappy about there, brother! IT is what I do as well. What are looking to get into, specifically?

Just to stay on thread, I just tucked my Z in the garage for a little nap until I have to take her back out at 1am (for work), have made myself a mean margarita, have tucked my feet under myself on the couch and I'm settling down to catch up onn some reading!

I may have to invest in some rear camber components otherwise Ill be replacing tires yearly. Also need to go find my alignment sheet and see just how far off of the stock settings mine is riding. Ugh, the only reason I got those Hankooks was to save a few bucks but more importantly I wanted to get a little life outta them.

Don't want to go for something too crazy because it is a summer DD :icon17:

Unfortunately Im super strapped for $$$ right now. Esp w ZDAYZ coming up and just paying my taxes. I can really only afford to replace the rears right now not buy a full new set:( So 2 new Hankooks it is. Also considering just swapping the tires to the opposite rims since the current outsides of the tires arent too bad:ugh2:

For the price Continental DW is a awesome tire.
I have DWS on my Maxima and that is what convinced me to buy a Z again. That Maxima drives like it is on rails.
I have the Michelin Pilot Super Sports on the Z and they are better. However, if I decide that I need a less expensive replacement in the future the DW/DWS would be a tire that I would buy. For the little you'll give up in handling you'll gain in ride comfort and quietness. Plus, you'll save about 500 bones. Hankook Ventus V12 Evo K110 is another wise choice if your looking at DW. Check to see actual tread widths etc... In Hankook Ventus, you need to get 285/35/19 and 255/35/19 to equal stock widths etc.. It might be the similar for DW.

Hum - Looks like you might have to go with 245-45-19 up front on the DW. I do not see a 245-40-19 in the DW. It works out to be almost exactly the same size as the factory Bridgestone specs.

Edit: For just over $1000 you might want to look at installing 255-40-19 Fr and 285-35-19 Rear DW tires. I was looking at the numbers and it might be a really nice set up. I wonder if these sizes would fit without rubbing on stock height car with stock rims? Anyone know?

Good luck alcheng. I'm sure you'll be really happy with your choice.

What I did with my Z today:

Found some newly repaved country roads to take in my area. The roads used to be very rough. I just found out they have been repaved. It's like getting someone to build a race track in my back yard. Didn't see but two cars the whole time I was out. The only thing I have to look out for is coyotes though. Almost took one out that was confused because I came up on him so fast.

Loving my new track.

That would be nice. However, did you know that they are making the 295/30/19 that is only .6 dia shorter, about a inch wider and one pound heavier? In contrast, the 285/35/19 would be a little taller and only about .4 of a inch wider than stock widths. Not a upgrade over stock as far as I can tell. It would make for a higher gear ratio(lower numberically) and not a noticable difference in traction or look. It would however give you a little more bead protection on the stock rims. It seems to be sufficent as far as I can tell.

No problem Mr.GaleForce , you can ask for Eddie, or give him an e-mail, he replies very quickly with details, if you are contact him in these couple days is even better, because I am going to see him tomorrow, just mention to him Alex who drives the white 370z that purchase the Vossen, he will know.

mmm, I found it interesting too, because I found the OEM size with the DW before, I hope it is not because they just discontinued the front size, because the OEM size for rear is still on the chart.

Being it's contrasting carbon fiber, the step is irrelevent to me. If your's is FRP, then molding it into the factory spoiler makes perfect sense and would look great.

I've gotten nothing but compliments from everyone who has seen it, including my dealer's bodyshop manager.

Whatever you end up doing, I'm confident you are going to love the spoiler. It's one of my favorite mods so far.

Mine is FRP but I am thinking about painting it matte black rather than matching the color. This is so that it will match the front lip and side blades that I will install at the same time. I know if I install it as intended the mattle black will look pretty good other than the small step that only slightly bugs me. If I had it molded I think it will looker cleaner but I am not sure if black would be the way to go anymore. I have some time to think about it as I have other fish to fry before I install all of my body mods. Thanks for feedback :tiphat:

What did the last sentence mean?

I think the biggest things that caused me to not consider the 295/30 route is that the miminum wheel width listed was a 10.5". The stock Rays are 10". Also, Kenchan mentioned that the Z would look lifted. Considering that I have the stock suspension, I can't afford to appear to have more wheel gap than i already do.

As you can see I'm majorly torn over this dilemma, and I've thought long and hard over it. I sure wish I could see some Zs with 295s on it, stock Rays and stock height. :(
