I use the jdm tape to mask off seals (black parts of car) and nooks when polishing. :D. Wax is not too big of an issue but polish residue is a pita to remove when dry.

The masking tape can also being used to cover the edge of the clearbra thus the wax won't leave residues along the edge.

Oh yeah, looking to purchase a good radar detector for my wife. I told her to either go with a V1 or a Passport 9500ix. Now the Passport has some kind of subscription service that integrates a bluetooth connection to your android/iphone with vital information. Hmmm, maybe the Passport will be the way to go.

Any thoughts on that? I know...there's tons of threads on this stuff...I was just curious about the general opinion.

Guys, I've been using it for years. The trick is learning the drying time for your particular area. The more humid, the longer it takes.

@ $48 bucks, that's cheap enough to screw up the install and not feel bad about it! This is good stuff, I'm going to have to check it out. I'm about to go w/ spacers and new Stillen side skirts.

:icon18: yah, neither is my toilet paper.

as long as you keep the adhesive side wet with soapy solution you can't really mess this up. :D

Good afternoon everyone! Time to get caught up.

Had a good drive today, no tires thrown at me  I had some goof revving the piss out of his Saturn while we were at a red light, other than that it was all thumbs up and head nods of approval.

Went to a GTR certified Nissan dealer to get a proper crush washer. No problems, the guy gave me two no charge. Then I saw something that caught my eye,

On the way back to my car I saw this sweet Bentley get parked next to me. Looks like they have some baggy pants kid doing "details" yikes!

Says the guy with the GTR avatar:bowrofl:

So I just looked at my rear tires to see just how much tread I have left / to waste down at ZDAYZ in 2 months. I was SUPER disappointed to see that my Hankook v12's are already at the wear line with less than 10k on them:facepalm: I got over 20k from the stockers, granted they were to the wire in the rear when replaced. I may have to invest in some rear camber components otherwise Ill be replacing tires yearly. Also need to go find my alignment sheet and see just how far off of the stock settings mine is riding. Ugh, the only reason I got those Hankooks was to save a few bucks but more importantly I wanted to get a little life outta them.
