Had a long night. A fevered 2 year old = no sleep for anybody. He's feeling better now and running laps around the house. Mom and I feel like a train ran us over :icon14: . We're happy our little dude if feeling better though.

Hopefully I'll be able to sneak out for a quick spin in the Z this aft. I'll go out to see if I can get some quality products (locally) for me to perform an oil change. I have a question for those of you using a magnetic drain plug. Any concern about having a glob of metal shavings breaking off the magnet and into your system? Its the only downside that I can see to using a magnetic drain plug.

Mr.onzedge, I always respect female who drive manual... they really know how to drive.

Yeah I noticed that nobody had posted since my last one and was going to say so...but I'm the first poster sooo often with my coffee antics I figured I'd let someone else nab that glory! :hello:

Coffee has two virtues: it is wet and warm. :rofl2:

Thanks happy, LOL, :icon17:
I will keep the stock ride height right now since it's my DD and I don't want to have a harsh ride otherwise I'll look like this ==> :icon14:

sorry to hear gale! glad to hear your kid is doing better. hope he recovers fully soon and you and mom can rest as well.

i dont use any magnets on my oil but since the car will be pouring out oil when you undo the plug, chances are all the shavings will pour out with the old oil?

Onzedge - I have the Stillen on my 370 and I really like it. It doesn't sound like a riced-out car that Kenchan would hate. It has a deep, throaty sound on over rev and a nice resonation on acceleration.

Thanks :tiphat:. It's just one of those things parents go through with their little ones. If an occasional high fever is the worse thing that happens with him, I'll take it.

I'm ~1 hour east of the big city near Cobourg. Nice and close to the water and beach... We love it!

Thanks buddy! Yeah, it sucks... he's normally a beast (tough little guy), if he's uncomfortable, its the real deal, usually this stuff doesn't phase him. He's acting almost like his normal self today, a nice afternoon nap and some of mommy's home cooking he'll be good as new.

I have a Berk CBE on my 370 and I love it. I wanted to do a Stillen, but I did not like the tail pipes and they refused to make some slash cuts for me. It is a great exhaust, no doubt, and one is going on our Juke. If I had installed it on the 370, I would have always regretted it -- just due to the tailpipes being all round, square-cut and extending out too far.. It takes just one design attribute of a product to ruin it for me and it was the tailpipes on the Stillen CBE that did it. I know, I need help. I am working on it. It is a process, one day at a time.

Mr.GaleForce, you are nearby Cobourg!! I was a boarding student in Port Hope for 2 years!

BTW, are you looking for K&N? Does Canadian Tire have them? I bought off mine from eBay. BTW, I am selling mine if you are interested, have about 200km on them.

Mr Edge,

How would you describe the sound and experience overall. To me Im the same as you, the tailpipe design on most others is not pleasing. The Berk does catch my eye always.

The Berk is deep, but tame at low RPMs. High RPMs -- it is all business, but not raspy/obnoxious/ricer/fart-can/burpy/annoying/teen-ager/50-dollar-bolt-on/JC Whitney/Pull-me-over sounding. The Berk dramatically improved throttle response and pull up to redline as well. I had a chance to hear it last week when my son took it through its paces after the Koni install. He always winds up through the gears and it sounds great. I don't know how else to put it. It sounds almost as good as my 240Z, almost.

An added bonus is that the Berk has the same aesthetics as stock, so it meets one of my rules about car modifications -- I do not like them to be obvious.

I think I made the right decision on the Berk when I purchased it back in 2010. I spent about 2 months researching cat-backs and there are many good ones out there, but all except the Berk failed me on at least one point including: burnt tips, slip joints, tips too big or not slashed, too flashy, too low to the ground, poor power increase, etc.

Thanks for asking.

:iagree: all the same reasons why I purchased Berk exhaust. Love the look of the tips, very factory like. As an added bonus, the staff at Berk Technology is top notch! I actually received a hand written thank you card from them! It floored me!

Are you talking about the air filters? I'm looking for K&N oil filter. My local Canadian Tire and Parts Souce don't carry the HP-1008. I have a Carquest that I'll check on Monday.

I know the boarding school in Port Hope. We're considering it for our little guy. $25000+/yr is up there though considering there are some good schools in Cobourg... Still have a few years before we have to cross that bridge. lol.

Yes, I am talking about the K&N oil drop-in, I bought a pair last Oct and put in about 200km on it before I store the Z for Winter. I put them back into the package since I installed the CAI last month.

BTW, if you consider that school, Trinity College School, and you are living in the area, you can choose the day school student option. That school has a 140+ yrs of history and I had a very good time there, you can have them give you a tour, I was there about 2 yrs ago and they have added lots of new facilities.

Well where do I begin? I woke up early to do the DIY headlight mod. Had my bumper and everything off early!! Took both my headlights off. Dismantled the left one took it inside and boom did not fit into my oven. I bet u guys r thinking what an idiot why didn't he measure?! Well I did, but what I didn't know was that big black piece I couldn't see didn't come off! I didn't want to take the time to do it with the heat gun so I said forget it! So I just changed my bulbs to some 8000k bulbs and put them back in. As u can see in the pics the horizon line is perfect between the two bulbs! I was satisfied with my $35 spent on the bulbs with a lifetime warranty. Then I changed the parking light bulb to a red LED. Very bad A$$!! Pics do not do it justice. Very disappointed in myself today!!
