Is that a legal location for the holster? I thought it had to be in a glove box, and in a holster... Essentially making it two steps to get to.

18" Res. I have a permit! I can leave it in the seat while I'm pulled over and the cops cant do anything!! I can role around with 6 guns in a vest like dude off of Boondock Saints and they can't do SH!!!T!!! LOL

Yup, just checked it out! In Tennessee you have to have a permit to carry in your car.

Apparently in Florida (unbeknownst to me), it has to only be "securely encased".

"Securely encased" means in a glove compartment, whether or not locked; snapped in a holster; in a gun case, whether or not locked; in a zippered gun case; or in a closed box or container which requires a lid or cover to be opened for access.

What Berretta do you have Happy? One of the nicest guns I've fired was a friends Taurus .357 magnum with 6" chrome barrel.

Beretta 96 40 Caliber. I also have a Ruger P89 9mm, a Glock 17c 9mm and a .38 Special that my Grandfather won in a poker game! I like the Berretta best, tho. It's a big piece and fits in my hand perfectly. :)

My Glock .40 travels OK, but the Remington 870 and the AR-15 are not so subtle.

I was "allowed" to drive the Juke yesterday for our Saturday errand-running. My wife is in love with it (it is her DD).

It is not a bad ride. It handles fairly well and is very zippy/peppy around town. I am happy that she hates auto trans -- the manual makes it much more fun. The first mod is a cat-back, probably the Stillen, and after the break-in period.

I am very curious to hear what a free-flowing Juke is going to sound like. :)

motoring happy! :tup: yah, poorly lowered/messed up civics, lancers, wrx's, evo's, mr2's... i use to see a lot of them driving around especially on my way back from my drive. i didn't see even one today. :tup: they want to race usually so i try to stay as far away as possible so when they crash by themselves into a ditch or pole or tree, witnesses dont suspect i was racing him. :icon17:

and do something about the wheel gap/wheels if it bothered me. :)
