i couldnt stand the emotional abuse i took from these forums on lowering my car. it was to the point where i was scared to log on, because someone would harass my "4x4" Z. |

i'd like to change damper settings alittle but dont think the car is that tall to begin with, at least my wheel gaps in real life is not bad at all. my picts suck though. :ugh2: (which reminds me... where the hell is my Mines??! :crying: so that i can go snatch a DSLR). |

i suppose i will look at KW V3's later on. i dont need the car lower, i want the dampers a tad stiffer... or maybe i should swap out the DW's to S04's. :p btw, the s04's are awesome on my G. im going to swap out the rear spacers on the car to poke it 5mm tonight. anyone want a set of lightly used DW's? ;) (no i am not selling) |

After a run with ZONC, I am thinking that the Swifts, rather than the Eibachs, are the way to go. Many guys had Eibachs and then switched out to Swifts and they claim a vastly superior experience. I am all about the superior experiences myself so i am naturally interested in pursuing the Sifts option. So I need to decide today whether to pull the trigger on the Swifts just becuase they are available. if I do, then they too will sit on a shelf, probably on top of my Eibachs, until the driveway project gets complete. Then, of course, I will have a nice set of Eibachs for sale. |
do it do it do it :stirthepot:

yah, im all for customization so i would require the damper adjustability. :) now if Koni released yellows for our cars i'd probably just do that, or maybe hitachi/d-specs or something. :p |

I drove to work and training afterwards
Coming to a light, I had to quickly stop, downshifted to 2nd, the sound of the back pressure (love it) scared some lady who was getting into her parked car and she dropped her shopping bags lol. I dunno...it made me laugh :) |

I have been told that if you take it to the CHP they won't charge you to sign it off so that's why I am taking it there. |

Alright guys... So what I did with my Z today....spent a couple hours after work detailing the Z, and also, as requested, I took some better shots of the 3M Scotchprint 1080 CF using my DSLR :) My evo 3d smartphone is nice, but it's still a phone and it shoots pics worth $h!t. Oh Ken, btw, I called my insurance guy, no dice on the discount for clearbra-ing the headlights :icon14: So, anyway, washed Zena with ONR (no hose, double bucket wash), dried with FK425, then waxed with Supernatural Hybrid over existing Supernatural from 1 week ago. Mmmmm... Supernatural is my new favorite wax. http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3.../DSC_1488A.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3.../DSC_1494B.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3.../DSC_1495A.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...F/DSC_1519.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...F/DSC_1520.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...F/DSC_1521.jpg And here's the waxes I love.......... http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3.../DSC_1479A.jpg Then my almost 11 year old, 95k miles Civic ;) draped in Optimum Opti-coat 2.0 (permanent hand-applied clear coat). http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...F/DSC_1505.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...F/DSC_1515.jpg |

Oh by the way, to answer your question from before... no issue with the 3M wrap being used by the exhaust. From what I read in the specs, and my talk with my installer, it should tolerate the heat from the exhaust with no issues. If not, it's warrantied anyway. You should go ahead and wrap yours too!!! I love mine! Next up, front bumper black trim, b-pillars, and kick plates. And btw, the Civic has 95k miles!!! :D had her since new, 80 miles off the lot. |
