This thread has been abnormally slow this week. Just wait till half of us put our Z's away for the winter.

My big thing with my Z today was installing my "Z" logo valve stem caps -- one of my birthday gifts from my wife. Here you go (low-res Droid shot):

Thanks!!! This forum makes me feel like a 25 year old stuck in a 51 year old body.

kenchan 10-15-2011 10:03 AM

Hahaha! :D

Motored my Z this am. They must be doing an early morning sale at Walmart of something?
Otherwise was a great drive overall. :p

Dallaz 10-15-2011 05:20 PM

Installed my front lip today! That's the last peice of my Aero Jacket (Sunline, Shine Auto) kit that I had to install. Almost cracked it putting it on, it was a tight fit. Took about an hour to get it on but it looks so good.

I updated my Z page with iPhone pics

Nice man, happy birthday! It's always in the details, love it.

On my own day with the Z, I took her to Cars and Coffee this morning. Here's the link to that thread:

I would start soft front and stiff rear and see how you like it. It will be easy enough to adjust if you need to.

Took a group of 17 cars up thru Ebbetts Pass. Just slightly above the clouds at 8700 elevation. Weather could not have been better. The fall colors were just starting to change and there was snow on the ground from a week ago. Traffic was light and the road was smooth.

I guess my Z is going to become my DD for a week or two. Had to let my brother borrow my truck for tonight he hit a small deer and it pushed the bumper in on the tranny cooler.
Damn deer, I tell ya.

Skeeterbop 10-15-2011 11:37 PM

Gave my car a bath and removed 2300 miles of bug guts and road grime.

Tell me about it. My Z is still awaiting repair after a renegade deer ran out in front of me. Its finally going to the body shop on the 24th.

sboden 10-16-2011 06:19 AM

Machine polished and then machine wax/sealed it. It looks great.

kenchan 10-16-2011 07:33 AM

Dallaz- couldn't find your pict in your profile page?

Christian- nice picts! :D

Yesterday took out the Z for motoring-round2 as I knew it was going to rain this am. During the drive a lady complimented my car by saying "gorgeous car!" :D. Yay, first time ever a non-greasy dood complimented my Z. :icon17:

Now I wish that I changed my schedule around and gone on this run. Thanks for organizing it. Next time, work goes second and run first.
