SRM: Nissan's View, Failure to Change the Industry

I love the SRM, but I really don't use it enough to appreciate it. It's usually off, and the only reason I turn it on is to hear my FI exhaust when down shifting in public traffic. Sure, I could just stab the gas pedal when slowing down and shifting, but somehow I feel less of a ricer when the car does it for me.

Unfortunately my leg doesn't allow me to turn my foot far enough to properly heel-toe, so the SRM is a great feature for me in my MT Z.

you're doing it wrong, haboob. i dont turn/twist my leg for street heel and toe. just use the side of your foot to blip while braking. only when i need full braking power do i twist my leg and swing my heel around to blip.

it feels awkward at first, but once you get use to it, you'll end up doing that even while driving AT cars that dont rev match on down shifts.

Yes! I started doing this when kenchan first mentioned it! So much easier!

Oh, I thought you had to kind of twist your foot inward a bit.

I wonder if my foot is even wide enough to touch both at the same time.

That and the brake pedal seems much higher than the gas? I dunno, I'll have to give it a shot in an empty parking lot one of these days.
