Need to monitor my oil levels for a while. Did an oil change back in May when I added a 34 row oil cooler. Everything worked beautifully.
I just did a new oil change this morning and realized the old oil was only about 2.5 quarts. The car never ran rough, I never noticed any oil leaks, and no stains on the zpeed undershroud. I pray the engine isn't burning oil that fast. I added 6.5 quarts for it to reach the full line on the stick. Went for a drive and everything appeared fine. I have a block off plate on the cooler currently and temps were at 215F. this was normal 60mph cruising without any launches. I don't believe temps have gotten that high before with the cooler.
