Considering I don't generally hang out with crappy people, at least boost money? hehe.

I drove the Z this weekend to flex on the dealer. Looking at a different daily as mine is a bit too boring for me.

Well I’m still waiting for the frickin’ exhaust to show up.
We had 4” of snow today(boo!)
Time for Moses to go into storage (double boo!) and he’ll just have to wait until spring.
Ah the wonder that is Canadian winter weather just keeps giving...

BTW, I’m sure others have names for their Z. Mine is Moses because when I drive on the highway, any traffic in front of me just gets out of the way and opens up like the Red Sea.

Of course, apologies to anyone I may have offended by misappropriation of a religious subject. Folks get offended, but it’s only a little humour....

Depending on where you live, some people get offended by a lack of religion. So I wouldn't worry about it. That's what the report button is for.

Washed the Z since I did drive it in the rain last week (I like creating large rooster-tails)

A Black Z34 11-14-2019 03:43 PM

Got tired of the borla CBE that came with my Z...

Got some art pipes and short tails on the way. Time to permanently damage my ears lol

Brake job finished.
Replaced all rotors and pads.
I was clean until I worked on the rear brakes. Its pretty tight back there.

After 5 weeks of neglect, she was washed. She was so ecstatic, she dripped.

Washed the car today. It was in the 70's so I took full advantage of it. Gotta wash the wife's car next weekend.

Leingod 12-01-2019 07:06 PM

Mine is parked for the winter. I'm taking the insurance off of it tomorrow.

Boooooooo

cv129 12-01-2019 09:24 PM

Had fun doing little things with my wife’s new ride, did:

Wash, decon, compound, polish, seal
303’d the front dash, clean and condition leather
LED in and out, include turn signals
Slight smokey tint to the clear portion of the taillight
Debadged “370z”, changed burger emblem to black “Z”, black and red Nismo badge
Slim black license plate frame
Nismo valve stems

Yet to do:
10mm spacers in front
Swap out the crappy front tires with AS3 to match the rear, slight upsize 255/40/19

As for my own car, bought bunch of SPL bushings and set of polyurethane rear subframe bushings (more parts to sit in the shelve)

sp911 12-02-2019 06:26 AM

nothing today or yesterday (snow and ice), but Saturday saw 4 other z's on the road. that is unheard of in these parts. I know there were a billion cars on the road for xmas shopping but that was odd. maybe getting one last drive in before the bad weather.

370zBoyz 12-02-2019 09:28 AM

removed my axle back and put back on the nismo muffler with only test pipes

feels nice actually without having my ears exploding anymore and can actually have a conversation in the car without having to pause talking until i shift up lol

I have a buddy that has engine parts under his bed. And using the block for a table. That engine hasn't been together for over 40 yrs. It's a Ford NASCAR Boss 429 from Holman and Moody.

Well, there's not much room with all the parts... In fact, the front bumper is in my formal living room right now. But single life means I don't have to answer to anyone for it :icon17:

I had some plaster from the garage fall on the Z and cause some scratches, I'm awaiting the call from the adjuster to see what they say about it. The Apartment complex of course was quick to fix the garage so I've been driving my "new" daily (2016 WRX) mostly.

It's tons of fun, but no match for the sound of the Z when i brought it back to my place after the garage was fixed. I will say, I like the bite point on the WRX clutch vs the Z, so I see a RJM Pedal in the future.

Well last week I ordered a stage 2 Soho top mount with ID1300x & 450lph, cjm S1.SE fuel return with top hat, Innovate a/f & boost controller and gauge pillar...I'm super excited!

Nice! One day ill eventually go turbo. I like their top mount single kit. If they offer it with a twin-scroll setup, that'd be awesome.

Take the Z out for the first time in 45 days, figure I'd drive sedately around the blocks near home and warm her up. Get half a block before a cop starts tailing me. Follows me through two turns and six blocks, at 20 mph, before he turns around.

I decide to play a joke and pass his new speed trap three times from three different directions in five minutes. Cruise around a bit more and head home.

Pull onto my street and the joke's on me - he's sitting one house down from mine, working his radar :rofl2:
