All pictures and files used to install the systems are owned by Directed Electronics so I'm not at liberty to share them.

I will say though it is possible to put a remote start in a manual 370z because I have one in mine. You can NEVER park it in gear though

There is a momentary push button clutch switch at the back of the pedal. This button must be pressed (by depressing the clutch pedal) before the engine will start. This is to ensure the vehicle is in neutral when the engine starts regardless of the shifter location.

If you trick the switch into thinking the pedal is depressed you can start the engine without actually physically depressing the clutch pedal. This is why he says you can't ever leave it in gear. If the car were in gear and remote start activated, the car would lurch forward and stall (or crash into your garage wall or the car in front of you or a curb ... ). This is similar to the workaround available for the e-brake that will let you watch video on aftermarket HUs while the vehicle is in motion.

I had this on my maxima 6mt. It had a neutral safety switch though, so if you left it in gear it wouldn't start.

You get a cookie.

To the guy who mentioned the neutral safety switch in his maxima, the 370z doesn't have one. If you really wanted I remote start in your manual Z, compustar makes some cool **** where it can actually be programmed to know not to start while in gear even when the car doesn't have a neutral safety switch
