I don't even have the wheel anymore! UPS has it and sent it back to FB Nissan. The problem with that is, A) The colour would be off so I would need to repaint all four or so wheel repair shops have told me. And B) where I live it's like $300 for a repair like this.

No don't repair it even if you had it. You paid for it to be new. You're gonna get your money back.

I've worked for UPS, Fed Ex Home Delivery and now work for FedEx Express-I usually shake my head when I see rims coming down the belts. I personally would never order anything that can be easily damaged like TV's or rims but I know how the stuff gets treated. This year I saw 4 rims come down not even inside a box, the shipper just attached a label via zip tie and sent them on their way. At some point in time your shipment will be stacked either in a container or in a semi truck, sometimes those rims get placed at the top and when the truck moves or gets unloaded your rims slam to the ground. Then they have to be placed on a long conveyor belt and at this time of the year that conveyor belt is packed. Nothing gets treated special. Those rims should have been wrapped in bubble wrap and when it was placed in the box it should have been tight fitting so nothing moves around. AFIC, if those rims were just placed in a box and shipped that is 100% the shippers fault.
