Is there any way to stop the air conditioner from turning on every time I start the car? Also does premium fuel really matter? ( I do understand the whole

Is there any way to stop the air conditioner from turning on every time I start the car? Also does premium fuel really matter? ( I do understand the whole octane thing,) but I never used premium on my RX 8, and it worked fine. And last, I did ( premix oil in the gas ) on my RX 8, does anyone premix on their Z? thanks rez
