Maybe a gas truck. A Duramax with minor mods (A tune and lift pump) can run into the low 13s and some even break into the 12's. This however cannot be sustained without a trans, but once that is done they can run mid 12's all day long. Compare those numbers to a stock 370Z's. I own my own business in custom tuning these things, with simple bolt ons (exhaust, and lift pump) they can push 500+ RWHP. What doesnt help them is they weigh upwards of 7000 lbs. That however means very good traction off the line which accounts for the low (relatively) 1/4 times. These same trucks also get 20+ mpg on the highway. ![]()
