There have been recalls for fuel lines causing engine fires, hood latches breaking when trying to open, air bag sensor fouling up, staples coming out of the seats (still fighting with Mitsubishi to get this fixed). My battery had a dead cell and I had a leak in my power steering which was 'patched'. I think thats it...
This past weekend I spent a full day taking apart the dash to silence numerous squeaks and rattles. Its amazing how cheap the plastics are on this car. My shift book and steering wheel are pleather (plastic leather) and my steering wheel has cracks all over. I think spending so much time in the cabin shaking my head at the poor quality this past weekend is what put me over the edge. |
