BOVs aren't illegal, stock Mini JCW's have a pretty good BOV sound stock. And I believe the 4th ammendment restricts you from unlawful searches and you don't have to consent to testing. If you've got the balls to do it... Do it... Most cops will be dumbfounded that you know a law. And if they say you broke a law, ask which one, and how they KNOW. Ask if you are being detained. Besides that... Good luck! I know a buyer in "TX" that "doesn't" live in CA... You should PM him. He's post 55 in your thread
