Final update: Sandwich plate oil adapter was leaking (again) and also caught a blown clamp causing SC fluid to leak. See??? My paranoia was justified.
New clutch is in The good: -I can drop in really hard in first and the clutch doesn't even bat an eye. It just bucks and launches. Pretty awesome. -Friction point is very close to the floor now which makes quick shifting much easier -Clutch grabs instantly. No hesitation and that "floaty" feeling in high 2nd is gone. The bad: -Holy crap this thing is a leg workout. My left leg is going to be enormous. -I get the feeling I could probably snap my driveshaft in two if I **** around too much
